Here is the lovely Bride that was my latest order! Her mother contacted me and wanted a special memory made to give her new daughter. They had already been married, and are now expecting their 1st child, so this should be nice to bring back the joy of their special day! Hopefully their doll will be a treasured keepsake for years to come.
And here is what I made for her to match….I think she turned out pretty close!
Loved the headpiece for the veil. Matched the lace of her gown.
And the finished Doll from the back… The lace went all around the veil as well…
I especially loved this detail…
The Bride’s Grandfathers had passed, but she wanted them to be a part of the day, so she had little picture charms on her bouquet. I did my best to match this detail as well! Can’t have them left out!! I think I got as close as possible!
And here is what I came up with to match…..
Here are her earrings….
And the ones I made to match… And here are the shoes she wanted me to match….
And here is what I did to match them….I think I got pretty close on these too!
Well…..there she is. I hope you enjoyed seeing what I came up with. My favorite part is when they actually have the doll in front of them. But, loved what the mother had to say during the process…I try to be fair with my pricing, but most don’t really understand what really goes into making one of these dolls, so it can be surprising at first when they hear the quote, but here is what she had to say about it:
“I’m just amazed how accurate you can get with these dolls. I’ve been showing the progress to my Co-workers. At first they thought I was crazy for spending that kind of money but after seeing the work and details that go into it they understand now why u charge so much.”
Thanks so much!! I really appreciated what she had to say!! I do put my heart and soul into each one, and I’d be happy to work with you as well! Feel free to contact me at: tamarastrinkets@tamarastrinkets.com
Well…thank you so much for looking, and hope you enjoyed your visit! I look forward to hearing from you!
Thanks again,
Tamara
