This had to be one of the more unusal orders….in a good way!!! The brides husband placed it! WOW! How amazing it that! LOVED it! Gotta be husband of the year for that! He wanted something special for their wedding anniversary and thought a Bride Doll was the way to go! I couldn’t have agreed more! 😉 I wanted to catpture her hair and eyes as best I could. And I loved the gown! Sure was fun to make! Here are the pictures Dave sent me to work from. He didn’t have many as he had to sneak them to me! LOL
I even made a tiny little can of beer to put in her hand, as this was her favorite kind! They loved it!! I want as many little details as possible so it’s as personalized as it can get! That make’s it an even more special keepsake! Here are some of the pictures I took during the process. They show some more detail for you.
The lace sure was interesting! LOL I had to cut and paste so to speak to match the details of the original dress. But in the end, I think it turned out pretty good! They seemed pleased! Here are some of the things they had to say:
–“She was amazed by it.”
–“Your artisanship is amazing.”
-By the Bride: “I loved the Bride doll. It is beautiful. You are so talented. It looks just like me! Thanks again it is beautfiul!!!” -Tammy
-By the groom: “The doll looks amazing right down to the necklace. Thank you for working with me on this project it looks GREAT.” -Dave
And here is a picture of the happy couple on their wedding day:
I wish you both a long and happy life together and thank you so very much for letting be be a part of the big surprise! It was so much fun!
Here are some more pictures of the finished Bride Doll:

How much is a bride doll
I would love to be able to answer that, but it depends on a lot of things. I really need to see a picture of the bride, the dress, and all the extras like veil, bouquet, jewelry etc, in order to give a quote. If you go to my website, http://www.tamarastrinkets.com/bridedolls.html there is a form you can send to me and I will get back to you and you so you can send me some pics if you would like a quote. Thanks for your interest in my work.
Thank you,
Tamara :-)
I had a custom made bride doll done 22 years ago by someone else that was in excellent condition. This summer I had a fire in my home and the doll was ruined. I would like a price quote to replace the doll. It looked very similar to Dave's Doll. I am brunette shoulder length hair, my dress was long sleeved with pearls, bows and a veil and train.
I can't seem to find the form to make an order or get a quote.
Hi, You can go to my actual website: http://www.tamarastrinkets.com and on the bride doll page there is a place to contact me, or you can just email at atamarastrinkets@tamarastrinket.com and I will respond from there. On most dolls, I need a pic of the bride/dress in order to give an accurate quote, so if you can include those, that would be great. Thanks so much for you interest in my work. I greatly appreciate it. :-)
